IPLT
Start HereIntroduction to Professional Level Trading
From $1,299
Who is this for?
The IPLT is designed for complete beginners who want to understand what professional trading actually looks like before committing to the full PTM programme. If you have no trading experience, or if you've been trading retail strategies and want to understand the professional alternative, this is the right starting point. It's also excellent for finance students or anyone considering a career in asset management.
What's covered
- Introduction to the professional trading mindset and how institutions approach markets
- Understanding macro economics and how it drives asset prices across all markets
- Basic portfolio construction: why professionals always think in long/short terms
- Risk management fundamentals used by hedge funds and proprietary trading firms
- Why 90% of retail traders fail and the specific habits that cause it
- Building a systematic process for analysing markets from the top down
Richard's Verdict
The IPLT is the perfect on-ramp to ITPM's methodology. When I first looked at ITPM, I was tempted to jump straight into the PTM — but I'm glad the IPLT exists. It sets the foundation for everything that follows: macro-first thinking, understanding why you need to view markets through a professional lens, and critically, why most retail trading approaches are fundamentally flawed.
The course doesn't overwhelm you with charts and indicators. Instead, it focuses on how professional traders actually think about markets — starting with the global macro picture and working down. This top-down approach is the single biggest differentiator between ITPM and every other trading education provider I've seen.
If you're completely new, start here. If you have some experience but have been trading like a typical retail trader (technical analysis, day trading, following signals), this will challenge everything you think you know — in the best possible way.
Pros
- +Perfect entry point — no prior experience needed
- +Establishes the right mindset before bad habits form
- +Affordable relative to the depth of content delivered
Cons
- −May feel introductory for traders with some experience
- −Doesn't go as deep into execution strategies as PTM
- −You'll almost certainly want to take PTM afterwards

PTM
Most PopularProfessional Trading Masterclass
From $1,299
Who is this for?
The PTM is ITPM's flagship course and it's aimed at anyone serious about learning how professional traders and portfolio managers actually operate. Whether you're a retail trader looking to transform your approach, or someone with a finance background who wants to learn practical portfolio management, this is the course. It's not for people looking for quick tips or day trading shortcuts.
What's covered
- Complete macro economic framework: understanding business cycles, central bank policy, and inter-market relationships
- Professional portfolio construction using long/short equity strategies across global markets
- Volatility assessment: how to read implied vs realised vol and what it tells you about risk
- Sector analysis and rotation: identifying which sectors outperform in each macro regime
- Professional risk management: position sizing, portfolio heat, correlation risk
- The full ITPM trade process from macro thesis to individual stock selection
Richard's Verdict
The PTM changed how I think about markets entirely. Before ITPM, I was doing what most retail traders do — staring at charts, using technical indicators, trying to predict short-term moves. The PTM showed me that professional traders operate in a completely different universe.
The macro economics section alone is worth the entire price of the course. Anton Kreil walks you through how to analyse the global economy from the top down, understand central bank policy, and identify which asset classes and sectors are likely to outperform in the current macro regime. This isn't theory — it's the exact process used at Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and every serious hedge fund.
The long/short portfolio approach was a revelation. Instead of just buying stocks and hoping they go up, you learn to construct a portfolio that profits regardless of market direction. You learn to think in terms of relative value, sector exposure, and risk-adjusted returns. It's a fundamentally different way of approaching markets.
If I could only recommend one course to any trader, retail or otherwise, it would be the PTM without hesitation. It's the single best investment I've made in my trading education.
Pros
- +The most comprehensive trading education available anywhere
- +Teaches you to think like a portfolio manager, not a gambler
- +The macro framework alone is worth multiples of the price
Cons
- −Steep learning curve — requires genuine commitment
- −Volume of content can be overwhelming initially
- −You may need to watch some modules multiple times

POTM
AdvancedProfessional Options Trading Masterclass
From $1,499
Who is this for?
The POTM is designed for PTM graduates who want to add professional options strategies to their toolkit. This isn't an introductory options course — it assumes you understand the macro framework and long/short portfolio approach from the PTM. If you've completed the PTM and want to learn how to use options to express your macro views with defined risk and asymmetric returns, this is the next step.
What's covered
- Options pricing theory: Black-Scholes, Greeks, and how professionals actually use them
- Directional options strategies: using options to express macro views with defined risk
- Volatility trading: understanding vol surfaces, skew, and term structure
- Professional options portfolio construction: how to size options positions within a broader portfolio
- Earnings trades: using options around corporate events with asymmetric risk/reward
- Advanced spread strategies: verticals, calendars, and ratio spreads in practice
Richard's Verdict
The POTM took my trading to another level. After the PTM, I understood how to read macro and construct a long/short equity portfolio. The POTM showed me how to use options to express those same views with dramatically better risk/reward profiles.
What sets this course apart from every other options programme is that it's not taught in isolation. Most options courses teach you strategies in a vacuum — iron condors, butterflies, straddles — without any framework for when to use them. The POTM integrates everything with the macro framework from the PTM. You learn to use options as tools to express specific macro and stock-level views.
The section on volatility is exceptional. Understanding implied vs realised volatility, vol surfaces, and how to identify when options are cheap or expensive relative to expected moves — this is what separates professional options traders from retail ones.
I use options strategies from this course regularly. The asymmetric return potential — risking a small amount for potentially very large gains — is genuinely transformative when combined with the macro framework from the PTM.
Pros
- +Teaches options the way professionals actually use them
- +Builds directly on PTM macro framework — not isolated options theory
- +Asymmetric return potential is genuinely exceptional
Cons
- −Requires solid PTM foundation — not standalone
- −Options complexity means more time needed to implement
- −Higher capital requirements for some strategies discussed

PFTM
SpecialistProfessional Forex Trading Masterclass
From $1,499
Who is this for?
The PFTM is ITPM's most advanced macro-driven course, designed for traders who want to specialise in professional forex trading. It's the most intellectually demanding of all the ITPM courses, with heavy emphasis on fundamental analysis, central bank policy, and global macro economics as they relate specifically to currency markets. This is not a course about chart patterns or forex signals.
What's covered
- How central bank policy differentials drive currency pairs across G10 and emerging markets
- Balance of payments analysis: current account, capital flows, and their impact on currencies
- Interest rate differentials and carry trades: the professional approach to forex positioning
- Macro regime analysis for currencies: understanding which environments favour which currencies
- Risk management in forex: professional position sizing and correlation management
- Geopolitical risk assessment and its impact on currency markets
Richard's Verdict
The PFTM is the most intellectually challenging course ITPM offers — and arguably the most rewarding. If you think forex trading is about candlestick patterns and support/resistance levels, this course will completely rewire your thinking.
The depth of macro analysis focused specifically on currencies is unlike anything else available. You learn how central bank policy differentials between countries drive currency pairs, how to analyse balance of payments data, and how capital flows create long-term trends that technical traders never see coming.
What I found most valuable was the framework for understanding why currencies move. After the PFTM, when you see the EUR/USD move 200 pips, you don't just see a chart pattern — you understand the policy differential, the relative growth picture, and the flow dynamics that caused it. This level of understanding is what separates a professional forex trader from someone gambling on charts.
The PFTM is the most advanced course in the ITPM curriculum and it's clear why. The macro-driven approach to forex is something I use in my trading every single week.
Pros
- +The most intellectually rigorous forex course available
- +Macro-driven approach is unique — no technical analysis nonsense
- +Understanding central bank policy differentials is incredibly powerful
Cons
- −Heavy academic content — requires serious study time
- −Forex-specific — less broadly applicable than PTM
- −Requires strong macro foundation to get maximum value
