ITPMcourse.com is an unofficial companion site run by Richard Sarsfield. This page explains what personal data the site collects, why, and how it is handled. If anything here is unclear, email info@itpmcourse.com.
What is collected
- Email sign-ups. If you request the free guide or otherwise subscribe, your email address (and any name you give) is stored with our email provider so we can send you what you asked for.
- Account data. If you create an account, we store your email address and authentication details through our authentication provider so you can sign in. Passwords are handled by that provider and are not visible to us.
- Referral and entitlement records. If you enrol in an ITPM course through this site and we verify the referral, we keep a record of that verification and any tool access it grants, tied to your account.
- Payment data. If you purchase the optional Macro Dashboard, payment is handled by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card details; we keep only what is needed to recognise your subscription.
- Basic usage and click data. We may record when an affiliate link is clicked (for example the course and a coarse, non-identifying signal) so we can understand which resources are useful.
- Anonymous interaction events. We record a small number of non-personal events — such as which contact method was clicked (WhatsApp or email), which page it happened on, and when a guide sign-up succeeded. These events never include the contents of any message, your phone number, your email address, or anything that identifies you.
Analytics and performance
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to measure, in aggregate, how many people visit which pages and how quickly pages load. These are privacy-friendly measurement tools: they count traffic and performance without cross-site tracking cookies and without building an advertising profile of you. Alongside this we record the small, non-personal interaction events described above (which contact method was clicked, on which page). This is genuinely anonymised, aggregate measurement — but it is not “no data at all”, and this section is here so you know exactly what is measured.
Cookies
The site uses essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. It does not rely on advertising cookies, and the analytics described above do not set cross-site tracking cookies. If additional analytics or measurement cookies are introduced, this page will be updated to describe them and, where required, ask for your consent.
Third parties
We share the minimum data needed with the service providers that make the site work: our email provider (to deliver what you subscribe to), our authentication and database provider (to run your account), our payment processor (to take payment), and our analytics provider (Vercel, for the aggregate measurement above). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms. Affiliate links take you to ITPM, whose own privacy terms then apply.
If you choose to contact us via the WhatsApp link, clicking it takes you off this site to WhatsApp and its owner, Meta. Anything you send that way, and your use of WhatsApp itself, is governed by WhatsApp’s and Meta’s own terms and privacy policies, not this one.
How long data is kept
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide what you asked for — for example, while you are subscribed to emails or hold an account — and then remove or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any email.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing info@itpmcourse.com.
